Founded on the belief that every individual deserves access to opportunity and support, we work to bridge gaps in resources for underserved populations across California and beyond.

Our initiatives range from food and housing assistance to educational outreach and community development programs. With a hands-on approach and a heart for service, The Califried Foundation partners with local leaders, volunteers, and donors to bring meaningful, lasting change to those who need it most.

About our Founders:

Co-founders Rudy Morales and Veteran Rocky Galindo are natives, born and raised in Indio, California. They grew up in a strong neighborhood that supported and uplifted every member of their community. At home, strong values rooted in Mexican American heritage were instilled, building their character. This strong foundation led to the establishment of a non-profit organization.

The Califired Foundation was established during the COVID-19 pandemic, a global epidemic that affected human lives, economies, and social structures worldwide. In 2020, while collaborating with the South Gate Chamber of Commerce and the City of Lynwood, Rudy brought together community leaders, including the South Gate American Legion, Veterans Stand Together, Power 106 KDAY Radio, and the United States Marine Corps Recruiting Office. This initiative involved working alongside local leaders at the city, county, state, and federal levels. In 2021, the CalifiRED Foundation was incorporated, fulfilling a long-time dream for both Rudy Morales and Rocky Galindo.
